Privacy Policy

What we collect

  • Identifying info: name, email, optional experience summary.
  • Resume: if you upload one, the file and extracted text are stored to personalize the interview.
  • Interview transcript: messages exchanged with the AI interviewer.
  • Anti-cheat signals: tab-switch counts, paste events, focus loss โ€” if enabled by the recruiter.
  • Technical data: IP address (used for rate limiting and consent records), basic browser info.

How we use it

  • To run the interview and generate a scorecard for the recruiting team.
  • To detect interview integrity issues (e.g. suspected cheating).
  • To improve the platform (aggregated, anonymized usage only).

AI processing

Your interview transcript is sent to a large language model (Google Gemini, via Lovable AI Gateway) to generate the next question and the final evaluation. If the recruiter enables PII redaction, your name, email and phone are masked before evaluation.

Sharing

Your data is shared only with the recruiting organization that invited you and with the AI provider for processing. We do not sell your data.

Retention

Interview data is retained for as long as the recruiting organization needs it for hiring purposes. You may request deletion at any time by contacting the recruiter.

Your rights

Under GDPR / similar laws you may request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data. Send the request to the recruiter who invited you and they will action it through the platform.

Security

Data is stored on Lovable Cloud (managed Supabase), with row-level security, encrypted transport, and least-privilege access for staff.
